I love dogs and I love to read cozy mysteries. I used to read the well known books of Patricia Cornwell, Kathy Reichs, Linda Fairstein, Jeffery Deaver etc., but I came to the conclusion that I did not like all that brutality. Then, I got my first cozy, and I was hooked. Here was what I craved, a mystery, humor and all that without the brutality. I also cross my fingers since I would really love to read these books, and I will for sure leave a review.

I grew up with German Shepards, and a Maltese mixed with a poidle, vlol. An odd combination but cute “baby” dog… our first dog that I can recall was a weiner dog, and he was and still is, my favorite!!!

I love with cats — vocal, opinionated, bossy, incredibly loving Siamese or part Siamese cats. All rescues. My eldest died while sleeping on me a year ago and I miss him just as much today.

I dont really have a favourite dog I’m more of a cat person.
I’m partial to miniature or teacup poodles, although standard poodles are gorgeous animals, too.
My favorite dog breeds are mutts. Ideally terrier mixes like Yorkies. Our latest dogs have been: Llhasa poo, Schnorky & Yorkachon.
I love these books. I wish I had a Pom, but right now just have ranch dogs.
I love all dogs. My last two died of Cancer. My husband is 81 and we don’t think it fair to get another and then have to have it rehomed! I do miss having a dog but we
are unable to care for it.

Favorite dog breed… that’s a tough one… I do love labs (any color), but I also have a soft spot for Newfoundlands.

I am fanatical about dogs. The breed doesn’t matter. Right now I have 2 furbabies. They are both rescue dogs. Our Annabelle (golden retriever) is now 7 years old and was abandoned in Baton Rouge, LA. I believe she was meant to be ours, as she survived a biliary track infection that she was 2 days away from dying from, heartworm and cancer. My wallet almost didn’t survive but she is so worth it. Our Spenser is now 4 years (terrier mix) and was rescued from a high kill shelter in San Antonio, TX. He is my cuddle bug and loves to be rocked. My life would be empty without them. I have found that there are two things (besides my human family, that is) that get me through my days and nights, my furbabies and my books. I am sorry for this being so long but I am one of those rescue moms that just loves telling everyone about our furbabies.

It’s hard to pick just one. I love the mixed breeds because you end up with such delightful, loving critters. (But then, all dogs are that, aren’t they?) My granddogs are mixed with pit, and they are the most loving pups!

My favorite breed is `Longhaired Mini Dachshunds’, they are so sweet and loving. Don’t know what I’d do without my Amber.
I enjoy novels that have animals in them because I love almost all animals. Seeing the mini schnauzer on the cover reminds me of our dear Max who died two years ago. I would like to win. Thank you.
